Shawn has been an Agent with Executive Freight for over nine years, and has been in the business for over 15.  He enjoys many longstanding relationships with customers, and he feels fortunate to call many of them friends.  Shawn is an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and he relishes any minute he can be outside hunting or fishing.  He particularly enjoys duck hunting with his best buddy -  his black lab, Jet.  He and Jet are also very active in hunting dog competitions around their home state of Texas.

Shawn has been happily married to Renea for nearly 25 years.  They recently welcomed their first grandson into the family just over a year ago.  He hopes to have a new hunting buddy in ten years or so!  Shawn and Renea are active in their church and with their extended family.

Originally I worked in the accounting and finance world, where I was introduced to the logistics industry. Nine years later, logistics is now in my blood, and I hardly remember life before managing freight.  I was built to interact with people, so crunching numbers and spreadsheets all day just wasn’t my cup of tea. I absolutely love the day to day interactions with my customers and building lasting business and personal relationships. Helping my customers with their transportation needs is what drives me, and I love working with them every day.

When I’m not coordinating pickup and delivery appointments, I love spending time with my family. I am happily married with three wonderful kids. My two oldest are very active in sports, so you can almost always find me on a field or in a dugout. During the off seasons, we like to spend time at the lake, hiking, swimming, and just being outdoors…as much as the Texas heat will allow!
